by Lynsey deBurca

Lynsey deBurca is as down to earth as she is unique. Living on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, Lynsey takes much of her inspiration from her natural surroundings in Connemara and Galway, its weather beaten coast, its water pools & rocks, a landscape shaped and sculpted by time and sea. Over recent years Lynsey has evolved into an amazing & respected jeweller, all from a bench, with a hammer and a few other tools in her home studio. Lynsey deBurca is a maker to watch for the future.

Looking after your jewellery

It is recommended to remove all jewellery prior to showering swimming exercising gardening cleaning and sleeping. This should help in protecting your jewellery from scratches and chemicals.

We advise that you use warm soapy water to wash jewellery preferably leaving in a dish of non detergent soap to soak. You can use a very soft toothbrush to carefully remove any build up of sediment. In addition you should use a polishing cloth to shine sterling silver and gold items.

Oxidised silver jewellery goes through a specialised treatment to obtain the blackened colour and with time the colour may lighten naturally. Cloths, chemicals and rubbing will strip the oxidised finish so please use only cold water to wash. it is best to store sterling silver in an airtight bag or box to avoid naturally occurring oxidation.
