Collection: Belfast Delft

Memory first, people second, play somewhere in between. This small body of work is new territory for us in the studio.

Belfast Delft draws on Dutch Delftware, that familiar blue and white style found in everyday kitchens, itself shaped by earlier Chinese porcelain. Those soft cobalt washes and loose, sketch-like marks have travelled through history to find their way here, into our studio on the Lower Falls.

Each piece begins with a memory, a scene, or something overheard, shaped by past work and the stories around me. It’s rooted in Belfast, carried by a sense of play, and open to wherever it goes next.
