Sketched Enamel Square Pendant

by Ghost & Bonesetter

Stunning silver and enamel sketched half square pendant, made by the amazingly talented jeweller and print maker Karen Daye Hutchenson in her Belfast studio.

. Silver & Enamel

. Totally unique piece - no two are ever the same

. Made in Belfast, Ireland

Ghost & Bonesetter is better known to some as Karen Daye Hutchenson - celebrated Print Maker + Jeweller from Belfast. Karen's prints, etchings and jewellery go hand in hand, many of the cuffs are literally copper printing plates that have served their purpose and now sliced up and re-imagined, much of her jewellery is etched, scribed, beaten, forged. It's no secret that Karen's work is probably our favourite, without sounding too arty, it speaks of Belfast, it is confident, it is authentic - You will either love or hate the work of Ghost and Bonesetter, either emotion is fine...

Looking after your jewellery

It is recommended to remove all jewellery prior to showering swimming exercising gardening cleaning and sleeping. This should help in protecting your jewellery from scratches and chemicals.

We advise that you use warm soapy water to wash jewellery preferably leaving in a dish of non detergent soap to soak. You can use a very soft toothbrush to carefully remove any build up of sediment. In addition you should use a polishing cloth to shine sterling silver and gold items.

Oxidised silver jewellery goes through a specialised treatment to obtain the blackened colour and with time the colour may lighten naturally. Cloths, chemicals and rubbing will strip the oxidised finish so please use only cold water to wash. it is best to store sterling silver in an airtight bag or box to avoid naturally occurring oxidation.
